David has been in ground handling for 30 years and has extensive knowledge of ground operations having held senior level operational roles across the UK and ROI for leading global providers such as Servisair, Swissport and latterly Menzies Aviation where he held the position of Vice President - Operations UK&I South.

David’s vast experience of ground handling business processes across major airports, such as LHR, LGW, STN, LTN and DUB, has seen him lead significant operational performance improvements through his focus on operational modelling, business re-engineering, colleague and stakeholder engagement, operational leadership development and the application of a robust resource planning approach.

As a service provider in a complex 24/7 operational environment where the key resource is People, it is inevitable that operational irregularities will occur and airline schedules will move requiring ground services providers to review their resource requirements, either as a contingency or through a planned uplift in headcount requirement. David’s expertise will provide the necessary support to ensure operational readiness and strong operational delivery.
